The painting is by Mr (later Bro) E. Waldron West who had his studio in Sansome Walk. It will benoted that several featuressuch as the rider's arm direct the eye towards the Inn sign while a number Masonic symbols are inconspicuously incorporated in the picture. It was commissioned andpresented by a group of Masonsin 1962 following the opening of the new Masonic Hall…..
The table below was presented by W. Bro. G E. Rackstraw. The especially made Royal Worcester porcelain vases and bowl which formerly adorned the tablewere presented by the late W. Bro. J Fv Gimson. These have now been transferred to the Museum for safety….."
