Description
"This image is a 1789 Masonic engraving titled ""Chapter and Grand Lodge of England"".
• It was created by Peter Lambert de Lintot, who was a prominent figure in the ""Rite of Seven Degrees"" in London.
• The engraving features eight square symbolical designs arranged within an oval, depicting various masonic and hermetic symbols.
• Key elements included are the ""Brute Stone"" with a pickaxe and broom, and the ""Cubical Stone"" showing planetary spheres and stars.
• It is considered a rare document detailing 18th-century masonic iconography, sometimes associated with Swedenborgian or alchemical influences."
