OBVERSE: A dais of three steps, on which stands a robed female figure, a sword at her left side, and a balance held out in her right; below the balance, an open book, surmounted by the square and compasses enclosing a trowel; on the left an acacia shrub, a shovel and a maul crossed in front; above all, the blazing sun. Around, GRAND LODGE OF FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS/MICHIGAN
