Description

OBVERSE: A star with circular centre and nineteen points; in the centre, a plain Latin cross surrounded by the motto IN HOC SIGNO VINCES Between the points of the star are the letters of the word PILGRIMAGES and on the rays are dates from 1870 to 1886. Inscription around.

REVERSE: A Maltese cross, in the centre of which is a globe, entirely occupied by an outline of North America, and crossed by a ribbon on which is inscribed MARY Inscription on the cross and around.
