Description

"OBVERSE: Portrait bust to right of Frederic Freese, the square, compasses, a sword and a looped cord grouped at the base; inscription around.

REVERSE: A circular pedestal, a pelican with an oval shield bearing the monogram F F on the top; two cherubs at the sides, placing flowers on the pedestal. In the background, on the left, a domed temple on a rocky eminence, the sun rising behind; on the right, three figures running from a similar building which appears to be blazing. Above, SIC ORNAT IUSTITIA SUOS Date in ex:"
