Description
OBVERSE: Three-quarter length portrait full face, in full evening dress, with apron, collar and gauntlets and wearing the Star of an Order. In his right hand is a mallet, which rests on a pedestal on which lie a closed book and the compasses. Above, on the left, are the Arms of the United Grand Lodge of England, with crest, supporters and motto. Below, TO THE RT. HON./THE LORD AMPTHILL GCSI.
