Description

OBVERSE: View of a large building with pillared front surmounted by a pediment displaying a blazing sun. Date above, and inscription in a panel below.

REVERSE: A pedestal, on the front of which are the square and compasses, upon which rests a cushion bearing three mallets, a tasselled cord across it hanging down at the sides; above, an irradiated circle. An ornamental leaf border surrounds the upper half; below, in ex: PROVINZIAL LOGE VON/NIEDERSACHSEN/. 1777.
