OBVERSE: Portrait bust to left; at the base, small medallions bearing the devices of the Grand Lodge of Hamburg and of the Lodge Amalia. Inscription around.

REVERSE: A four-line verse by Goethe; above, the compasses and level, surmounted by a five-pointed star.
