Description
OBVERSE: Archimedes, seated by the overturned base of a column, drawing a circle on a board, other drawings at his feet. Above, NOLI TURBARE CIRCULOS and an inscription in 3 lines in ex:
REVERSE: A building somewhat in the Greek style, with central pediment supported by four Doric columns. In the right foreground, a draped female figure with helmet and shield pointing it out to a girl who carries a scroll.
