Description

OBVERSE: Two squares overlapping, the centre portion containing three clasped hands in an ornamental arrangement of circles; around, CONCOR/DITER/ET CON/ STANTER implements in the angles, a knotted and tasselled cord above, a leopard and a sphinx below.

REVERSE: A large square enclosing a rayed head within a smaller one; gavel, trowel, level and tracing board in the spandrils. Edge reading: IN TESSERAM CONSTANTIAE EX FOEDERE INSOLUBILI 1754
