REVERSE: Within a cartouche shaped like the tables of the Law, on one panel a skull, cross-bones and three tear-drops, on the other an eye, a finger held to lips and an ear; all between two sprigs of acacia. Around, HOMMAGE AU MÉRITE RÉCOMPENSE AU ZELE/INST .’. EN 5828
