Description

OBVERSE: Portrait head to left of King Edward VII, within a chaplet of acacia, tied at the base with ribbon. Above, H. M. KING/EDWARD vii and below, PROTECTOR/ OF FREE- MASONS Rosettes in the four corners.

REVERSE: Above, the square and compasses, enclosing a pentalpha; in the four corners, shields bearing the names of the Lodges participating, viz. HARMONY/1411, STAR/&/THISTLE/5o9, BETHESDA and ESMERALDA /30 and below a shield inscribed KING/CYRUS/R. A./CHAPTER Within, inscription in 11 lines: MASONIC BALL/OF THE/ENGLISH SPEAKING FREE-MASONS/OF/VALPARAISO/ HELD IN THE GERMAN HALL/ON THE/27TH JUNE 1902/IN CELEBRATION OF THE CORONATION/OF THE/KING
