Description

OBVERSE: A draped female figure standing half turned to the right, bending towards a dove which she is holding up to her face. Behind and to the left, on a pedestal, stands a nude winged male figure, holding up a branch of olive. Below and to the right are the tops of two columns, Ionic and Corinthian, adorned with globes, and at the feet of the central figure lies a maul. On the right, in two lines, PEACE/1919 At the base of the pedestal, in small letters, E. C. R. P. The whole is encircled by a border of maize, which forms the edge of the medal.

REVERSE: The Arms of the United Grand Lodge of England, with motto; fern leaves and lilies of the valley at the base. Above, projecting beyond the edge, is an ornamental arrangement of the square and compasses, and ring for suspension. Ribbon 37 mm.
