Description

OBVERSE: Portrait head three-quarters right, within a raised border forming the outline of a five-petalled flower.

REVERSE: The Arms of the United Grand Lodge of England, with crest, supporters and motto on a scroll below. Around, H. R. H. THE DUKE OF CONNAUGHT M. W. G. M. 1917 At the base, 1717—1917 and below (small) SPENCER RD 659983

The whole surmounted by a ducal coronet, to which is attached a ring for hanging. Ribbon, 26 mm., light blue with a central band of black bordered by crimson; bar inscribed 23 JUNE 1917
