Description
OBVERSE: A figure of Fortitude, dressed in a tunic, standing on a squared pavement beside an altar with fire on it, in which he is holding his right hand. Above, at the sides, an open book on which rest the square and compasses, and a pentalpha. Around, a chaplet formed of an ear of corn and a sprig of acacia; above, the All-seeing Eye, and below, on an oval tablet, 105 A crown surmounts the whole.
REVERSE:Plain.
Ribbon, 38 mm., light blue; bar, hanger and clasp frosted, the clasp, which is curved, inscribed A L 5759
The Lodge was warranted in 1759, in the Second Division of Marines.
