Description

OBVERSE: Within an inner circle, on a background of blue enamel, the square and compasses, surmounted by the flowers of three red tulips. Around is a floriated pentagon with circular centre, its corners terminating in leaves which extend beyond the rim. The outer circle is inscribed ROYAL CUMBERLAND LODGE/CENTENARY 1855 N° 48

REVERSE: Plain.

Ribbon, 26 mm., light blue; plain bar hanger.

The Lodge was formed as early as 1732, but was not constituted until the following year.

34 mm. Silver gilt and enamel.
