Description

Pierced: in the form of a circle enclosing the square and compasses, within which is a circular medallion.

OBVERSE: In the medallion, the number 41 within a chaplet of acacia; around the outer circle, MEDINA LODGE,/ • CENTENARY • 5732 MEDAL

REVERSE: In the medallion, a castle within a chaplet of acacia and laurel; around, GRANTED BY THE EARL OF ZETLAND M. W. 0. M./ 5862 •

Ribbon, 31 mm., light blue; plain hanger.

The Warrant of this Lodge dates from 1733 in London, but later came into the possession of a Lodge at Cowes, where, except for a period, 1773—9, when it was temporarily erased, it has been in existence since 1762.
