Description
OBVERSE: In the centre, a circle of enamel with a distant view of Mt. Sinai, palm trees in the foreground; above, the Tables of the Law, in white enamel, and below, partly covering the circle, a shield displaying the Head of John the Baptist on a charger, the figures 16 14 below. Around are circular panels of dark blue, lettered in gold, MOUNT SINAI/LODGE N° 121 At the sides, on the gilt base, are the square and compasses and a pentalpha, with scroll ornaments around; an endless serpent encircles the whole.
REVERSE: Plain; the silver mark indicates 1906; maker G K & s
Ribbon, 30 mm., light blue; the hanger is ornamented with foliage and bears the dates 1769 and 1813
