Description
OBVERSE: Pierced, with a background of light blue enamel. A five-pointed star of rays, bearing a medallion with a scene of Neptune, with trident, in his chariot drawn by dolphins. On a circle around, NEPTUNE LODGE N° 22/ • CENTENARY . The whole surmounted by the square and compasses to which the ribbon is attached.
REVERSE: Slightly convex, plain.
Ribbon, 37 mm., light blue; the hanger is inscribed ESTB • 1759.
The Lodge was an Athol Lodge, warranted at Deptford, Kent, in 1757. A specimen bears on the REVERSE: the inscription (engraved) PRESENTED TO/THE/WORCESTERSHIRE MASONIC MUSEUM/BY/W. BROBVERSE: G. W.
