Mit Genehmigung der Obern.—Zu finden in den Logen. (With engraving of obverse and reverse of the medal struck to commemorate the election of Duke Ferdinand of Brunswick to the office of General Grand Master under the rite of “Strict Observance” at the time of the union of the German Lodges, July 16, 1782.) The years of Bodes’ Almanack from 1777 to 1779 contain a few medals and illustrations, which add to the value of these very scarce souvenirs of “ye olden tyme.” All are to be found in Marvin’s “Masonic Medals,” 1880.
