Prov. 5G. Deacon East Lancashire (compiler of History of St. John’s Lodge, No. 221, &e.). Bury: Printed at the Hope Office, by Bro. 0. C. Crompton. 1882.
The History, Introduction, and List of Lodges are all excellent. Not a few of the records are unusual, and all are such as to make one thankful the work has become the property of the Craft. It is singular how many of the old Lodges worked the HA. Degree, even when the Grand Lodge did not countenance it.
