Par F. T. B. CLAVEL. Illustrée de 25 belles gravures sur aeier. Paris: Pagnerre, editeur, 14 his Rue de Seine. 1843. A singularly entertaining volume, scarce and valuable; and to have all the plates (25) a still more unusual sight in a Masonic Library.The French have not been so particular; and discreet in Masonic publishing as the English speaking Craft, and mix up the fiction so with the facts, that their works are at times very misleading to the neophyte in search of light. The above is not an exception to this rule.
