Medal struck in commemoration of the dedieation of the New Masonic Temple in Boston, 1867.
This was not struck by authority of the Grand Lodge, but privately. Somewhat rare.
OBVERSE.--—View of the temple, showing both the front and side and the adjoining buildings. On the curb stone, in very small letters, “W. N. Warden.” Ahove, “ Masonic Temple;” below, “ Boston.”
REVERSE’--” New Masonic Temple,” in a curved line above the All-seeing Eye; under the eye, “Dedicated June 24, AL. 5867, Chas, C. Dame,” in three lines; below, a square and compasses, and “Grand Master” in a curved line.
