Description
"This image shows a Masonic Third Degree Tracing Board.
• Coffin Symbolism: The central coffin represents the mortality of man and is used during the third degree ceremony to teach lessons about life and death.
• Symbolic Emblems: The board features various symbols within the coffin, including a skull and crossbones (memento mori), square and compasses, and a sprig of acacia.
• Purpose: Tracing boards are visual aids used in Masonic lodge meetings to illustrate the symbols and allegories of the different degrees of Freemasonry.
