Description

This was published by Picart in his “Ceremonies.” In the earliest edition the numbers of the lodges run from left to right, but several later editions have them in the reverse order. As there is no List preserved for 1735, and only one for 1734 (reproduced by Bro. Hughan, and No. 7 in this Catalogue) ; Picart’s Plate, so artistically arranged, has long been highly valued by the Craft. Bro. John Lane’s “Handy Book to the Lists ‘ (No. 9), should he consulted on this interesting subject.
