Description
"This is a 1754 coloured engraving titled ""A Free Mason Formed out of the Materials of his Lodge"", attributed to English engraver A. Slade.
The anthropomorphic figure is constructed entirely from various Masonic symbols and tools, designed to represent a Master Mason.
It was originally published in London and features a checkered floor (mosaic pavement) and a frame decorated with further emblematic tools of the trade."
