"Date: Late 19th century.

Origin: English.

Style:  An elegant sherry/port glass well engraved with very fancy undecipherable initials to one side. On the other there is a square and compasses with an arched measure. There is an orb between the legs. Two pillars with globes on either side.Then a closed bible with two pens in saltire in what appears to be an ink well. Three candle sticks with lit candles. Below all that there is fluting to the lower third of the glass. 6.5 cm diameter bowl.

Stem: An unusual stem having a large knop at the top and a smaller medial with the whole stem is faceted longitudinally. There is a neat horizontal facet on the circumference of each knop.

Foot: Spread,6.8 cm diameter.

Pontil: Ground out."

"Glass: Lead. Has a good ring.

Height: 12.7cm.

Condition: Excellent. It has had little use. There is some wear to the foot rim. No chips or damage."
