"Date: Early 1900’s.

Origin: English.

Style: A wine glass of bucket form in clear glass engraved with a square and compasses with a large sun with face above. A moon with face, plumb rule, two pens in saltire, a gavel and plinth, a trowel and some tools partly hidden in the block etching of the base on which the picture of the engraving is stood. The engraving is to approximately 1/3 of the surface area. Bowl 7.9cm.

Stem: Cushion knops top and bottom with a bladed medial knop.

Foot: Solid spread.6.5 cm diameter.

Pontil: Polished."

Height: 13cm.

Weight: 224 grams.

Condition: Very good. Slight wear on the foot base. The engraving is not the best."
