Description
OBVERSE: Ornamental cross, bearing in the centre a shield, two naked swords crossed behind; on the shield, a monogram of R C within a border inscribed READING/COMMANDERY NO. 42 K. T. OF PA. On the limbs of the cross are, above and below, oval plaques inscribed 42 and KT and, at the sides, banners displaying the skull and crossbones and the cross encircled by a coronet. Around, READING COMMANDERY N° 42 OF PA./KNIGHTS TEMPLAR
REVERSE: A view of the Capitol. Around, WASHINGTON D. C. and in ex: two sprigs of acacia crossed.
