Description
OBVERSE: Figure of Harpocrates, nude but for his skin ‘full of eyes’, finger on lips, resting against the stump of a tree, a cornucopia in his left hand, from which Masonic implements fall. Around, FAVETE LINGVIS. and in ex: AEQVITAS CONCOR-/DIA ET VIR-/TVS.
REVERSE: A hand, issuing from a cloud, holding a level above a group of unhewn stones.By the group of stones is seated a figure, holding up a trowel in the right hand, and with the left applying the compasses to a block of Stone. Around, AEQVA LEGE SORTITVR INSIGNES ET IMOS
