Description

An ornamental five-pointed star, pomegranates between the rays except at the top, where an Earl’s coronet, with ring for suspension, surmounts the whole.

OBVERSE: Within a beaded medallion, a portrait head to left; around, EARL OF ZETLAND GRAND MASTER

REVERSE: Similar arrangement; the medallion, not beaded, has an inner circle containing a view of the façade of Freemasons Hall, with, above, INAUGURATED 14 APRIL 1869. and below on a scroll AUDI VIDE TACE The circle around is blank for engraving the name of the recipient. Suspended by a light blue ribbon.

The specimen is engraved with the name Bro. Samuel Millis, No. 157.
