Description
OBVERSE: Within an inner circle, in bold relief St. John the Baptist, rudely clothed and with staff, against a background of mountains and a lake. In the border, an ear of corn and a sprig of acacia, crossed at the base; above, the number 70. Surmounting the whole is a heavily irradiated pentalpha, enclosing the All-seeing Eye.
REVERSE: Plain.
Ribbon, 24 mm., light blue; plain hanger, and a bar in the form of a scroll inscribed A L 5759
The Warrant was issued in 1759 to an Athol Lodge in the 3rd Regiment of Foot, which later became stationary.
