Description
OBVERSE: On an irregularly shaped ornamental background, the square and compasses, decorated with filigree work, a brilliant at the joint of the compasses. Within, a lozenge-shaped panel, edged with brilliants, bearing a portrait bust of Queen Victoria, wearing crown, veil, and necklace, in gilt and blue enamel.
REVERSE: Plain.
The whole is surmounted by a Royal Crown in red enamel and gilt, and suspended by a 32 mm. ribbon of light blue from an ornamental hanger, with a bar inscribed 14 JUNE 1897

33 X 56 mm. Silver gilt (3, with slight variations, and a miniature).
