Jewel & Medal Collection - Worcestershire Museum of Freemasonry
Old Brass Diamond-shaped Jewel. Albany Lodge No.151
Classification:- Lodge/Chapter Etc.; Members
Country of Origin:- England - Province/Region/District:- Hampshire & Isle of Wight
Order:- Mark
Description
The Craft Lodge, No. 151, now at Newport, Isle of Wight, was 176, from 1832 to 1863. I consider this medal is from an older design however than 176 indicates.
“176,” within two triangles, surrounded by a circle of Mark characters. It is probably one of the Mark jewels of an old lodge in the Isle of Wight.
