Description
This medal appears to have been struck in honour of the infant son of Napoleon, soon after his birth.
Obverse.-—Between two olive branches the square and compasses, in the centre of which is a five-pointed star with the letter G, Legend, “[.‘.] Des Coeurs Unis 0.’. De Paris.” Below, “OD. F.”
Reverse.—ln the field between two branches of laurel, in four lines, “A Napoleon Roi De Rome.” Below, “7 Avril * 5811”
