Description
OBVERSE: Within a solid circular rim, pierced and in bold relief, St. George on horseback to the right, with helmet, cloak and short sword, slaying the Dragon; in ex: in very small letters, LOEWENSTARK & SONS/LONDON Around the rim, ST GEORGE’S LODGE N° 140/CENTENARY Surmounting the whole are the square and compasses with foliage ornament along the arms.
REVERSE: Plain.
Ribbon, 37 mm., light blue; hanger inscribed ESTB . 1765.
Warranted in 1765, meeting in Chelsea.
